10 Design has announced the appointment of Ewan Jones as managing principal for the EMEA region.

Jones brings 30 years of international experience at the intersection of architecture, engineering and construction. Having previously held a partner role at Grimshaw, Jones has delivered high-profile projects spanning sectors from national infrastructure through to city centre development and placemaking.

He led Grimshaw’s work on the early stages of design for the Elizabeth Line and the development consent order for Sizewell C. Recent work includes HS2’s Colne Valley Viaduct and an over-station office scheme at Paddington.

Jones is also chair of the board at the Design Commission for Wales, as well as an Advisory Board member at the Welsh School of Architecture.

He said: ‘I am delighted to join 10 Design in a key leadership role at such a dynamic time for the practice. I look forward to developing our talented team and shaping our future direction.’
