THE IMAGINED WALLPAPER is a wall that changes, but so slowly that one doesn’t notice. Reflecting the seasons, buds appear, flowers and foliage slowly grow, blossom, bloom, wilt and fall.
The wall would change colours throughout the year. At some points it could change during the day to brighter tones, flowers slowly open, to then regress back into themselves at night. Ivy could grow slowly up a wall, Wisteria could grow slowly down from the ceiling, and in the evening, darker hues would calm the mood.
This would all happen so slowly that the eye could not detect the movement, change and mood.
