Location: London
Area: 2,323m2

M Moser has partnered with global sportswear brand On to design and build its new 25,000ft2 office in London.

Rooted in nature, On’s brand identity shaped the space from the ground up. It needed ‘a distinctive UK home that attracts local talent, keeps top performers inspired and leaves a lasting impression on every visitor’.

Working closely with the client design team, M Moser introduced raw, earthy elements balanced by clean, minimal forms, connected to the brand’s Swiss heritage.

Unusual materials were introduced to reflect On’s product innovation. The ‘rammed earth’ walls create a striking feature, crafted from locally sourced clay plaster and bound without chemicals. Echoing the geological layers of the River Thames Basin, it anchors the space to its surroundings. A staircase, with a sculptural, rammed earth finish, unites the two work levels. As people ascend it, the clay gradually lightens in colour.

The layout encourages exploration. Narrow corridors branch into different routes, guiding people from meeting rooms to communal spaces. At the heart of the space, a tea point enhances the team’s sense of togetherness.

On’s product showroom is housed on a dedicated floor, where the brand’s newest designs and innovations take centre stage. Curated displays and interactive technology create an engaging setting for client meetings and product demonstrations.

M Moser’s sustainability team helped On stay true to its sustainability goals, carefully selecting low-carbon materials like Marmoleum flooring, which absorbs more CO₂ than it emits. Ethically sourced timber and low-VOC fabrics were also used, each selected based on life cycle analysis.

An energy-saving ‘kill switch’ cuts power after the last person leaves, minimising off-hours consumption. Meanwhile, On’s furniture take-back programme repurposes pieces from other sites, reducing waste and maintaining a unified brand experience across offices.

Speaking about the project, John Kuilman, senior lead workplace design at On, says: ‘With a clear vision from On’s design team, the collaboration created a space that embodies the brand ethos and passion for innovation.’

To conclude, this adaptable space is designed to fuel On’s ambitious regional growth, with a flexible layout that adjusts to future demands.
