Mosaic Factory has launched Terra, a collection of handmade Moroccan natural clay tiles that honour the art of terracotta.
The collection is designed for both floor and wall applications. Each tile is formed by hand using raw clay, resulting in variations in size, tone, and surface texture. Terra offers a selection of shapes and colours, reflecting traditional terracotta while accommodating contemporary design needs.
The tiles are engineered for performance, featuring slip resistance, resilience to thermal shocks and mechanical stress, and geometric stability. Their low porosity contributes to durability, making them suitable for commercial spaces.
Louisa Alice, creative director at Mosaic Factory, stated: ‘We have worked hard to create what we believe is the perfect terracotta tile. The Terra collection is a tribute to tradition and craftsmanship, reimagined for modern living. These tiles offer a tactile experience and an earthy elegance that connects any space to its natural roots.’
Mosaic Factory was founded in 2002 between Paris and Tangier, initially producing handmade cement tiles. The brand now offers granito, zellige, terrazzo, and terracotta tiles, as well as furniture items, all made in Tangier and fully customisable.
Mosaic Factory tiles are available for purchase online, with showrooms located in London, Paris, Madrid, Lisbon and Malaga.
