Lighting brand Fabbian has launched Santo by Atelier Biagetti. It is a modular system in transparent blown glass or coloured metal, which can be assembled to create ‘rigorous or sculptural, linear or unpredictable configurations’.

According to the company, ‘light passes through the material, changing colour and dissolving contours’. The high-efficiency, ripple-free LED light source is available in a dimmable version for 24V or with 1-10V, DALI or PUSH dimming for the 230V version, where the power supply is integrated.

Atelier Biagetti’s work include creations for Louis Vuitton; projects & experiences for Valextra, Adidas and MCM; and avant-garde designs with Gufram, Memphis Milano, and Venini. The studio’s creations have been showcased in venues like the Triennale di Milano, Art Basel Design Miami, and galleries in global design capitals such as New York, Paris, Rome and Shanghai.

Fabbian has also launched Brotas by Estudio Campana. For this product, a twisted hazel branch – real, treated to preserve its shape and colour over time – embraces a white blown glass diffuser that is then deformed by hand. Available as a pendant or table lamp, and also in a version without the branch, the lighting is mains voltage for LED bulbs with E27 sockets, and dimmable by phase cut (30%−100%).
