The 19th century building, which was once a tool office, has been converted into a boutique hotel inspired by the heritage of Boston, and is the latest addition to the Morgans Hotel Group chain. The hotel is spread across 14 stories featuring 120 bedrooms.

Ames hotel will include a two level restaurant, with a bar and dining area featured on every floor. Curios will accentuate the interiors of the restaurant bringing alive the building’s heritage.

The lobby area includes original marble and brass staircase featuring a mosaic barrel-vaulted ceiling displaying contemporary art. It also features a ‘mirror chandelier’ or ‘mirror cloud’ installation

The rooms feature simple, serene decoration with light oak flooring, 10 feet high ceilings and a white cream-colored leather upholstered bed.
