Galleria London, the retail space opened in 1989 has been adaptively reused, and consolidated into Citi Plaza.
The former Bay store in the mall has been transformed into a central library; Eaton’s store has been turned into an office space; second floor has been converted into a space for educational and medical service providers.
Citi Cards Canada has taken a 114,000 square feet space on the second floor on lease. The office is spacious and makes use of natural light in abundance thanks to the skylights that were in the corridors of the original mall. A new glass facade and food court has also come up on this floor.
The facility features an employee lunch room and lounge, built on a deck beneath one of the skylights. The building features a computer resource center for personal use and a reflection room where people can pray.
The Country Style bistro features a lounge with cozy chairs and a fireplace. The new Citi Plaza will be launched with a 96% occupancy rate.
