The hospital has added five VIP and two royal suites bringing a touch of luxury to the traditional hospital design.
Luxury suites are equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment, nursing service, catering services and other facilities such as Internet.
The VIP rooms feature a patient’s room and another room for the family members. The royal suites have a dining room along with a majlis.
Two VIP suites and one royal suite for men are located at the ground floor. The first floor has two VIP suites and a royal suite for women. In addition, the trauma center also features a VIP suite.
The inclusion of luxury suites into the facility has been decided based on the success of luxury suites built in other main hospitals of the Dubai Health Authority, namely, the Dubai Hospital and the Al Wasl Hospital, says Dr Shawqi Khoori, director of Rashid Hospital.
