The Architect Series stand mixers includes the KitchenAid stand mixer featuring a tilt-head, five-quart and bowl-lift, and a six-quart. The tilt head provides for easy bowl access and can accommodate eight to nine cups of flour.
The professional version of the mixer can accommodate 12-14 cups. Selective models also come with the option of a three quart stainless steel bowl. The mixers come with many optional attachments to make different food items. The price of the mixer ranges from $349.99 to $499.99.
The collection also includes the Architect Series food processor that comes with a three-in-one food chute with a wide mouth design that helps save time and effort in food preparation. The processor features enough space to accommodate large food items like tomatoes, cucumbers, potatoes, etc. It also includes two models with 12 and 10 cup work bowls, and an additional four-cup mini-bowl with its own blade for smaller tasks.
The model with two work bowls includes two slicing discs (2mm and 4mm) and a 2mm shredding disc; a dough blade for mixing and kneading yeast dough; a specially shaped silicon spatula, and an accessory storage box.
A French fry disc, citrus press and an egg whip is included in the three-bowl model. An integrated induction motor, a smooth Clean Touchcontrol pad provides for the operation of the processor. Its rounded body has no crevices, hence does not trap ingredients, while a heavy duty base makes it stable.
The two bowl model is priced at $269.99 and will be available from December 2009, while the three-bowl model will be priced at $329.99. The Architect Series blender is powered by a 0.9-horsepower motor, and includes a 48 ounce glass pitcher with measurement markings and five speeds, including an ice crush option.
Contours in the pitcher design help direct ingredients into the blade for fast and thorough blending, while a soft, inner grip on the pitcher handle offers nonslip control. The blender features a die-cast metal base and steel reinforced coupler. It is estimated to be priced at $129.99.
Architect Series hand mixers is available in six, seven and nine speed models. Easy-to-read electronic digital control, with a Soft Start feature to help prevent spattering of ingredients, provide for the function of the mixer. Integrated with Clean Touch control pad, the blender functions with ease. The blender comes with a lockable swivel cord, which makes it operable for both left and right hand users.
The blender is provided with a non-tip heel rest that helps minimize counter messes when mixing is paused. Stainless steel Turbo Beater accessories and a stainless steel liquid blender rod attachment are also provided. A stainless steel Pro Whisk option is also provided with some models. The blender prices will range from $59.99 to $89.99.
