Located at Ambience Mall in up market Gurgaon on the outskirts of Indian capital New Delhi, the new Nokia store is spread across 2,000 square feet with a designated area for music, games, email and maps, thus providing customers with an opportunity to try Nokia’s devices and services like music, email, Ovi Store and navigation.
The company was reported stating that the concept store aims to synergize with its strategy to provide a holistic solutions experience to its consumers across all its touch points. The self-learn areas for entertainment and engagement allow customers to have fun while they try out games, download music, start navigation or even write an email. A dedicated wall bay with LCD screens continuously play demos of Nokia services to further enhance the experience.
Shankar Subramanian, director of retail of Nokia India, was stated saying that the new format in India is intended to be the experience and entertainment hubs for customers to help them explore and connect emotionally with the brand and its solutions. He adds that the flagship Nokia concept store has been designed in response to the changing global consumer who wants to do much more with his mobile phone than just talk.
