The Earlham Hall was built in the 1950s to replace the original Earlham Hall, which was built in 1855, but was deemed too primitive to be refurbished to meet modern building codes.

The current Earlham Hall is a near replica of the original and bears the original 1855 capstone on its façade. The hall features eight residence halls on campus, equipped with new climate control and mechanical systems, and a new elevator.

The Earlham Hall can accommodate 106 students and has new furniture and wireless Internet access in all rooms, including community kitchens, laundry and television rooms that are available for students. Its bottom floor has been transformed into offices for student development, residence life, safety and security, health and counseling services, and diversity programs.

Earlham College is located in Richmond, Indiana.
