International leading brands including Armani, Bally, Bulgari, Chanel, Dior, Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Omega, Prada and Salvatore Ferragamo, have confirmed to open shops in TaiKoo Hui shopping mall. Other tenants such as Godiva, Lazy Susan, Food Republic, Marks and Spencer, Chinese restaurant managed by Maxim’s Group and Ole’ Supermarket have chosen TaiKoo Hui as their first base in Guangzhou. Ochirly and Sanse, the locally-renowned brands, will also set up their flagship stores in the mall.
TaiKoo Hui is the first mixed-use development by Swire Properties in Guangzhou. The shopping mall has a gross floor area of 1.3 million square feet. Apart from the retail portion, TaiKoo Hui consists of two office towers, a cultural center, and a luxurious hotel managed by the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. Taikoo Hui is designed to include a combination of arts and cultural facilities with retail and commercial spaces in a single integrated development.
To be completed in 2010, before the opening of the Asian Games, the shopping mall will be managed by Swire Properties. Key shopping malls developed and managed by Swire Properties include Pacific Place, Festival Walk and Cityplaza.
