Anschutz Medical Campus’ new tower would have 200 beds, an expanded emergency department, surgical services, imaging, cardiac and vascular services, as well as a new parking garage.

The inpatient pavilion and the medical campus were both named for Denver entrepreneur Philip Anschutz in recognition to the large donations his foundation made over the years in order to support the area’s expanding medical complex.

The Children’s Hospital and the University of Colorado Hospital, which relocated from central Denver have there home in the campus.
