The designer has made use of soft flowing walls and organic shapes to define a sense of comfort. The walls feature a sweeping curvature which looks simple in appearance, yet has a powerful looking counter. The walls have a translucent green appearance.
The use of color by Rashid is also symbolic, as the color green signifies healing, which has been combined with white. The floor of the pharmacy features a flower and leaf pattern.
Karim Rashid has over 3000 designs in production. He holds honorary doctorates from the Ontario college of Art & Design and Corcoran College of Art & Design. Rashid is a frequent guest lecturer at universities and conferences globally disseminating the importance of design in everyday life.
