The renovated and expanded 64,503 square feet store, the company’s oldest Pick ‘n Save, is 10,000 square feet bigger than the old store. The new Metro Market features a café and a fireplace. The café is fitted with leather sofas. A plasma TV is located in a corner of the store.

The store also features an olive bar, an outdoor café, an extensive cheese section, and a custom sandwich shop. Steve Petusevsky, director of culinary innovation, was reported stating that there is also a catering desk for Roundy’s located near the café. The other two new features at the Metro Market are a cooking demonstration area and a wood-fired pizza oven.

The store is the second Metro Market for Roundy’s Supermarkets, a Milwaukee-based supermarket chain.
