All Meyda Custom Lighting fixtures have been developed to utilize energy efficient GU25 Compact Fluorescent lamping. In addition to custom manufacturing, Meyda Custom Lighting assigned specific fixtures for various applications, with the decorative look and aesthetics. Working directly from the floor plans, the company was responsible for all lighting design, and met the budget and deadline requirements, completing the project within six months for Hope Lake Lodge & Indoor Waterpark.
Meyda Lighting fixtures were customized to match the theme of each of the five floors in the lodge corridors. Animal themed wall sconces, which were created with attention to detail and design continuity, were installed to face the main elevator from any direction. The decorative sconces, crafted with a textured black finish and silver mica shades, were designed in the following animal themes: First floor—The Lynx; Second floor- The Bunny; Third floor- The Fox; Fourth floor- The Raccoon; and on the Fifth floor- The Black Bear.
The Oak and Acorn chandelier, featured in the lobby, is 10 feet tall and 8.5 feet wide. The fixture was designed with three tiers, a multitude of leaf accents, and 16 arms and candlelight. The shade depicts a lighted stained glass Acorn in ivory with a multi-toned Bark Brown granite glass crown that sprouts candle-topped, oak leaf covered branches that double as arms.
The entranceway chandelier, named Porte Cochre (French for Carriage Porch), features an eight feet, 6-Light fixture finished in textured black with six shades. Each shade is a unique uplight and downlight combination crafted in white and bordered an Arts & Crafts style design.
In the Waterfall Spa are Meyda Floral Wall Sconces that are hand-rubbed and hand-finished in Timeless Bronze. The wall fixtures are designed with Vine Leaves and hand-blown Amber Glass Flowers.
