The 95-seat RED Steakhouse will feature two upstairs apartments, a recreational lounge, a reserved dining-and-meeting-room for up to 28 people, free Wi-Fi, and an exclusive wine-tasting club.

The interior of the restaurant will wear a casual appearance. The interior architecture is designed to evoke the original building which had sixteen-and-a-half-foot ceilings. The owner of the restaurant, Michelle Maloney, said that they have created a room called ‘The Vault’ in the basement which housed the old vault. The Vault is designed for special occasions. It can be rented out and will have its own menu. The eatery features original arched windows, beautiful chandeliers, and wood floors.

The restaurant is expecting more student customers as it is located in historic downtown Vermillion South Dakota, home of the University of South Dakota.
