The Orrick Building follows JP Morgan Chase building in achieving Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)-Platinum certification from the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).

The 503,576 square feet Orrick Building has been designed to meet the highest green building and performance measures of sustainability, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, and indoor environmental quality. The building is equipped with a state-of-the-art HVAC system and the latest under-the floor energy efficient system. The building also adheres to green initiatives such as exterior building management, green cleaning, waste management and sustainable purchasing practice.

Sustainable building consultant BuildingWise and mechanical and electrical engineering specialist WSP Flack + Kurtz provided consulting services to help the structure to obtain the LEED certification.
