Robinsons Galleria – a five-level shopping mall with more than 400 shops, dining outlets, entertainment facilities and service centers – is undergoing major renovation and redevelopment. Robinsons Land expects that the current Phase 3 redevelopment will be completed before the peak shopping season by late 2010. The first two phases were completed in March 2010.
The renovation has increased the gross leasable area by around 100,000 square meters with more space to stroll around. The renovated mall will feature more than 330 shops, dining outlets, entertainment facilities, and service centers.
Most of the redevelopment work is concentrated on the second level, which encompasses large areas currently used for parking. This will be redeveloped into the Veranda, designed to house restaurants to cater to families and to serve as a place for professionals to hang out during weekdays.
The mall’s façade will also receive facelifts and a new tech lounge will be added. The redesign process will improve access for the disabled. Valet parking will be featured, too.
