Galije will feature 115 apartments, 87 hotel rooms, a restaurant, a pool, a parking lot and retail space. Located on an untouched coastline land in Montenegro, the grass-clad hotel appears to be hiding under a lush green hilltop that has been pulled up as a blanket. The resort completely merges in the landscape except for its round windows that shows through the grass. The design has retained the rough terrain of Montenegranian landscape.
The architects designed the whole project as an offset to the terrain and covered it with a blanket of the original landscape. The hotel is formed by pulling the blanket in front of the hill cliff to create a dramatic overhang. The more flat parts of the landscape hold various villas organized around the private patios facing the sea.
