The Salone Internazionale del Mobile is an international furniture fair, which took place from April 14-19, 2010 in Milan, Italy, besides international kitchen furniture exhibition Eurocucina 2010. At Eurocucina 2010, numerous producers have proposed HI-MACS in different applications.

The ‘Marosi’ island of Miton, the result of research which translates into a unique product, consists of almost 200 different pieces all made of HI-MACS Acrylic Stone in Alpine White. The central part of the structure ascends electronically and in the ‘resting’ position, with the central top flawlessly aligning with the rest of the island, creating a single surface.

The ‘Assim’ kitchen system presented by Euromobil is characterized by a large floating island, featuring worktops made exclusively of HI-MACS Acrylic Stone. The ‘Volare’ kitchen by Aran comprises five types of door and worktops made of Acrylic Stone in Alpine White. The special shape of the counter highlights HI-MACS thermoformability.

HI-MACS offers a wide variety of sinks and washbasins in standard sizes, which can be incorporated completely in line with the worktop, with invisible joints which prevent the accumulation of waste along the edges and between the various levels. Some manufacturers have applied remote controlled devices with LED illumination to the HI-MACS sinks, adding 21st century sophistication to their kitchens. In the Arrex kitchens, light fittings have again been installed in the sink designed by the kitchen manufacturer.

The worktop of Laurent Daniel’s exclusive new kitchen is made of HI-MACS in the Opal color from the Lucent translucent range. It is backlit evenly and makes the arrangement original and eye-catching.

The use of Lucent by LCD Design confirms the eclectic nature of the translucid range. The product is characterized by flexibility, and is hygienic and functional. It can be illuminated and used in any project.

HI-MACS is composed of 70% natural stone powder derived from bauxite, 25% high quality acrylic resin and 5% natural pigments. Designed and produced by LG HAUSYS, it is distributed across Europe from LG Hausys Europe headquarters in Geneva.

HI-MACS is completely non-porous, has the highest level of durability and does not lose its coloring. It also has uniform thickness, allowing for imperceptible joints. Easy to fabricate, HI-MACS, with its thermoformability properties, can be adapted to desired shapes.
