The 16-year-old facility of Manet Community Health Center in North Quincy will feature a large waiting room besides 11 patient rooms. The enhancements will allow the centre to serve an additional 1,233 patients. The renovated clinic will be equipped with new sprinkler system and upgraded fire alarm system.
The $1.2 million project gets funding amounting to $250,000 from government funds. The project is scheduled for completion by early 2011.
Manet Community Health Center is a multi-site community based health centre serving the broad health needs of South Shore residents through a family practice model of care.
