The Hermits House has been conceived as a garden retreat that can double as a lounge, guest room, home office or studio. The jagged shape of the structure distinguishes it from its surroundings. The house has an airy design evocative of a church. Constructed from wood combined with prefabricated panels, the project has resulted in the minimum use of materials.
The interior of the house has been designed to be usable, flexible and intimate. It offers a unique experience of light, reflection and views offering a fresh look at the wide area.
The design was partially prefabricated and then transported to its location. The house was built for less than €5000 ($6,570).
The Cloud Collective is a social, open and creative party that measures, explores, experiments, creates, produces and does research. It exists of a rich variety of people who are practicing their creative skills and talents in different places in Europe.
