The brief was to develop a distinctive and unique design that was modern and timeless. The design combines the aggressive crispiness of the exterior styling with sweeping curves. The sharp edges offers the 55m yacht a visually stimulating exterior, apart from retaining perfect proportions and a clutter-free cleanness to the surfaces.

An interesting detail of the new bespoke yacht is a ‘Plumb’ bow that provides extra aggressiveness to the yacht. The upper deck lounge features large curved windows helping to flood the interior with ample natural light, besides providing panoramic views from within.

The yacht features four guest cabins centered around a glass sided staircase, together with a VIP on the upper deck and owners suite. The exterior deck is equipped with sufficient entertainment and relaxation areas. The beach club is complimented by a side balcony shell door with multiple access points for water sport activities. Icon 55 is built to MCA Large Yacht Code II regulations, and will be constructed in grade A-steel hull and aluminum superstructure. It will also feature the RINA designation of a ‘Green Yacht Plus’ Label.

The new yacht has been launched following ICON Yachts-developed 50+m platform that was launched at the 2010 Monaco Yacht Show.
