The Dona Larsen Park will be the new football facility in the north end zone of Bronco Stadium. The construction of the park will expand seating in the 33,500-seat Bronco Stadium.
Phase one of the expansion includes moving the university’s oval track nearby to Dona Larsen Park. Boise State plans to open the new track and field and high school football facility before the 2013 season. The building will include offices, meeting rooms, a locker room, a training room, an equipment room, a weight room and an academic area.
The estimated cost of the Dona Larsen Park and football facilities is $20.5 million to $26 million. Boise State has raised $12 million so far for the project.
