The Digital Plaza will be developed next to the Park’s Faraday Wharf building in Birmingham and will comprise four buildings, specifically designed for the new generation of hi-tech companies. The four proposed Digital Plaza buildings will span over 10,895 square metre of space with the first building, iCentrum being the largest at 4,280 square metre.
The design plans also feature a colonnade walkway on land fronting on to Holt Street connecting the four new buildings. There are also plans for two more headquarters style buildings spanning 1,629 square metre and a fourth building offering 3,357 square metre.
Work is expected to start on the site by late 2012 or early 2013 subject to planning. The plans for the Digital Plaza will be unveiled at MIPIM property conference in Cannes.
