The new Kettle tap provides hot, cold and boiling water from one unit for complete convenience instantly at the twist of a button. The tap is designed to save water and electricity with only a specific amount of water to be used as compared to boiling the kettle.
The tap has an inbuilt conditioning filter ensuring water quality. It can be fitted new or retrospectively and requires a standard 35mm taphole. The hot water tank can also be fitted under the plinth, saving space in kitchen cabinets.
John Swain, the product manager said that the tap features only one spout compared to other models which have separate boiling water taps and do not reach 100°c. He further adds that the product is designed to be safe, featuring a safety button which needs to be activated to allow the boiling water to be discharged.
The Kettle tap is available in Chrome or SilkSteel PVD. The Chrome version retails at around £998 ($1,631) while the SilkSteel PVD model costs around £1074 ($1, 755.4) including VAT.
