Situated on Revere Street between Eastman Avenue and Main Street, renovations on the children’s park included cutting down some large pine trees and replacing them with deciduous trees. Installation of extra seats including pavilions with picnic tables as well as play elements were also a part of the upgrade work.

A small water feature which comprises the core of the park has been restored. A huge wooden elephant and giraffe stands on the grass in the centre of the facility along with two wooden crocodiles flanking one of the concrete walkways.

Other improvements incorporated in the park include a misty pathway which sprays a fine mist of water from a collection of stones allowing children to indulge in play. One of the walkways in the park has been dotted with stainless steel letters whereas the other walkaway displays numbers.

Work had already been completed in August 2010 though the park did not reopen immediately. The $350,000 project has been funded by the Charles J. Strosacker Foundation.
