Work will include construction of a 11,000 square feet outdoor party deck. The deck will comprise 10 areas to facilitate eating and drinking and a small stage for conducting postgame events. The project will also involve construction of an indoor stage and bar featuring an antique pipe organ. The pipe organ will be carved into the upper part of the arena. A total of 574 seats placed behind the stage will be phased out as part of the project to make the facility more spacious.

The revamped arena will be equipped with a large lightning bolt which will be illuminated during introductions of players and scores by the home team. Other features of the upgraded facility include replacement of its heating and cooling system and overhaul of its lighting systems. The facility will be fitted with all-new seats post renovation with its concourses, suites and the locker room undergoing a makeover. In addition, eight suites will be removed from the present arena allowing spectators walking on the concourse enhanced glimpses of the game.

The project is due for completion by 2011-12.
