Designed by NGP Architects, the revamped building now incorporates a modern and sleek look. A total of 269 guestrooms encompassing five floors in the renovated building have been equipped with sustainable acoustic underlay Regupol 4515 Multi from CMS Acoustics beneath wood flooring by Amtico. The material has been installed in order to reduce noise transmission between floors otherwise common in wooden floors.

The architects have specified 4,200 square metres of 4.5mm Regupol 4515 Multi which will generate an optimum sound transmission of 48 decibels. The material offers superior impact energy dampening beneath any type of floor which attenuates the sound at source. Regupol 4515 Multi which comes in varying sizes measuring 3mm and 4.5mm in thickness and enables maintenance of floor to ceiling heights. Quick and easy installation can be marked as another advantage of Regupol 4515 Multi.

Further, the acoustic underlay is recycled and recyclable and offers sustainable impact energy insulation. The underlay has zero Global Warming Potential and zero Ozone Depletion Potential while being rot- and deformation-resistant. In addition, it is supplied in easy to handle rolls which allows it to be trimmed as per individual needs.
