The refurbishment works carried out on the maternity department of the facility involve installation of three air conditioning units. The revamped department has also been equipped with improved waterproofing facilities and fitted with new tiling.
Other significant upgrades to the maternity wing include new cupboards and overhauled patient bathrooms while the walls have also been repainted. The hospital is currently installing a second X-Ray department. The hospital authorities have also outlined future plans to create a new department in the facility.
