The most unique feature of the new furniture line lies in the fact that it refrains from use of any screws or glue. It can be configured simply by some mallet whacks.
The designer has made use of a Japanese woodworking method known as a hell joint while designing the piece. The technique involves installation of wedges made of wood into the ends of every dowel. This helps in tight packing of the wedges inside the dowel.
The collection currently includes a table, bench as well as a side table. Development process is also underway on other furniture pieces to be introduced as part of this range.
The furniture collection is ideal for even compact living spaces. It has been nominated for the New Designer Award.
