Work includes expansion of the lobby area which is now adorned with couches, chairs and various artistic pieces on the walls. The expanded lobby features soft lighting and sports soft shades.
The entrance of the building has also been revamped as part of the project.
Another key feature of the project includes refurbishment of the facility’s auditorium. The old seats in the auditorium have been replaced with new spacious and more comfortable seating arrangements. The number of seats in the auditorium has also been reduced. The old lighting fixtures and ceiling of the auditorium have also been substituted.
The auditorium’s stage has undergone a facelift and now incorporates advanced lighting facilities as well as a wooden acoustical shell to facilitate concerts. The hall has also been fitted with a large rear-projection screen. The screen can shoot an image onto the screen through a projector concealed behind one of the panels of the shell. The screen is also linked to an advanced system for computer connectivity and to help play movies.
