The renovation was designed by Hamburg-based interior design practice JOI-Design. The revamped Diplomatic Suite Living Room, spanning 160 square metres, features conventional mouldings and a working Carmen Red granite fireplace. Presence of massive mirrors, mahogany doors and floral-designed wall coverings complements the look of the room. The textiles used in the room don taupe and grey shades. The look is accentuated by regal purple tones and predominance of orange in the artistic pieces adorning the room.
The dining room now features mahogany timbers and a glass-top dining table made of polished stainless steel. It is also adorned with a floating chandelier sporting a disc shape. The luminaire is made of perforated metal scatters. The room dons a wide array of neutral solid tones.
The Diplomatic Suite’s master and secondary bedrooms incorporate a feminine undertone following the facelift with presence of floral-patterned wallcoverings in grey hues. The upgraded rooms also comprise white-coloured upholstery pieces and painted millwork. The overhauled master bathroom incorporates a classic flavour with the use of a square bathtub complemented by Carrara marble tiles. A sunroom extension has been created in the secondary bedroom. The extension is framed by curtains featuring striped patterns matching it with the look of the dining room.
The Presidential Suite Living Room, encompassing 250 square metres, now dons contrasting hues of grey and gold. It is now also equipped with polished timber mirors while featuring an original, working fireplace. There is a round dining table crafted from honey-tinged hardwoods, a raised winter garden, and a solarium comprising ivory upholstered loungers adjacent to the living room.
The conference room now features full-height doors made of mahogany. There is also a 12-seat table featuring grained hardwood solids and conventional fluted pediments. The room also features a tiered crystal chandelier suspended above the table which adds to the aesthetics of the place.
