The lounge spans 650 square metres and will serve non-Schengen passengers using Dock B. The new lounge has been adorned with armchairs from Vitra, walls made of Jurassic limestone, and large windows offering views of the apron area.
The lounge has been segregated into two sections. One part is dedicated for Senators and Star Gold cardholders while another segment is for business class travellers and travellers holding Miles & More Frequent Traveller status. Both portions of the lounge comprise a working area offering free Wi-Fi and internet service, as well a buffet bistro space.
The Zurich airport has also created a new security check building sporting a centralised concept. The facility sports priority lanes for premium passengers and also comes equipped with advanced technology.
