The hotel will be rebranded as Fairfield Inn & Suites Detroit Livonia after the facelift. The revamped guest rooms of the facility will be equipped with new furnishings, carpet, wall vinyl, marble sinks and flat screen TVs measuring 32 inches. It will now house a large Executive King Suite featuring separate living and sleeping spaces, along with an extra TV to better meet the needs of travelers. The remodelled building will also add an extra large King room consisting of sofa bed.
Every room of the hotel will sport soundproof windows, microwaves and refrigerators post the revamp. Further, international cable/satellite service, wireless internet access, phones and voicemail service will be available in all the refurbished rooms.
The facility will accommodate a 20-seat hospitality room following the overhaul. The room, donning a pair of large screen TVs, will serve Manager’s Receptions and as a meeting area for small groups. There will now also be a new business centre comprising two computers and a copy machine with Wi-Fi access being offered across the entire hotel. In addition, the project will lead to creation of a Market while increasing the size of the hotel’s breakfast space to twice its existing size.
