Work is slated to commence on 1 March 2012. Work will include creation of a new main entryway donning a contemporary style as part of the renovation project. The facility will also be fitted with new flooring and carpeting, and new skylights through the concourses following the makeover. The lighting fixtures installed in the revamped mall will be brighter and will run low on energy consumption.
The remodelled facility will further feature upgraded signage and restrooms while being equipped with new soft seating areas. The exterior of the mall too, will undergo an overhaul and will now comprise repaved parking spaces and new landscaping.
The project is due for completion by November 2012.
