The floor will serve patients with neurological problems like stroke and traumatic brain injuries. It accommodates 22 private and semi-private beds including nine equipped with in-wall oxygen and suction. The same floor also houses a therapy gym, recreational room, dining room, vision clinic with Dynavision technology, a transitional apartment room, and accessible patient bathrooms.
The rooms of the fourth level have received an overhaul and now sport large hurricane rated windows, tiled private half-bathrooms, new beds, as well as built-in closets. The remodelled floor further incorporates a patient isolation room, a bariatric room donning a built-in lift system, quiet rooms, and bathrooms for guests.
Among various other features of the upgraded floor include a spacious central nurses station, staff lounge, office and meeting area, and prescription dispensing rooms.
