The construction firm based in Birmingham has executed the project, in collaboration with architect RLF and the US Naval Facilities Engineering Command. Scope of work involved overhaul of major clinical and ancillary spaces within the current hospital.

The facility’s pharmacy, the intensive care unit and the ear, nose, along with throat clinic are among the various facilities which received a facelift as part of the project. There has also been creation of a new hospital entrance following the refurbishment. In addition, the facility has been built to abide by existing anti-terrorism as well as force protection norms post refurbishment work.
