The new facility, covering an area of 18,000 square feet, substitutes the old Brighton Senior Center situated at 575 Bush Street. Among the various features of the new facility include a spacious community room, multiple classrooms, a commercial kitchen, medical clinic, and a billiards room.
This is the first phase of construction for the centre. The project’s phase II will involve creation of a fitness area, walking track, aerobic room, offices, along with small locker room. The final phase of the project will lead to creation of an exercise and lap pool, a hot tub, as well as larger locker rooms.
