The malls on the radar are Jersey Gardens, the largest outlet center in New Jersey and SuperMall in Auburn, Washington. The company plans to rebuild these facilities and re-brand these to its newly launched The Outlet Collection brand.
At The Outlet Collection Jersey Gardens, the company plans to work on both the interior and exterior of the building, to give it a contemporary feel. The refurbished mall will boast modern aesthetic and highly functional features. The mall will accommodate the world’s largest Tommy Hilfiger store and other high-end brands. Work on the scheme is slated to begin in mid-2012.
At The Outlet Collection Seattle, the company plans to update the flooring, interior rails and light fixtures of the mall. The mall will receive new concourse furniture and interior signage. Family restrooms will be added to it, which will be of four-star hotel standard.
The project will also add a new dining emporium as well as Wi-Fi hotspots. Its exterior will showcase its new name and brand at all entry points. Upon completion, it will be the only indoor outlet mall in the greater Seattle area. Work on the scheme has been staged in various phases, with phase I scheduled to begin in late 2012.
