The Okinawan hospitality concept or gusuku inspires the landscaping and contemporary architectural design of the resort. Shurijo face motifs, distinctive red clay roof tiles, white walls and holy water ponds serve as the property’s predominant design features.
The resort houses 97 contemporary-styled guestrooms and two suites. The rooms and suites feature balconies or terraces to offer panoramic views of the encompassing East China Sea and the Kise Country Club.
The Ritz-Carlton, Okinawa features a spa in its own separate enclave known as The Ritz-Carlton Spa by ESPA. The spa comprises four treatment rooms, four dry treatment rooms, outdoor Cabanas, as well as a pair of special Retreat Suites. The Retreat Suites, namely the Forest Suite and Ocean Suite, sports their individual private decks and stone baths. A Nail Studio, Relaxation Room, Indoor Pool, and the fitness centre are among the other features of the spa retreat.
The reception space of the Spa is characterised by the extensive use of organic materials. The area has been adorned in deep forest motif which forms textural and moving shadows with display of light like beneath the forest canopy. The treatment rooms of the spa have been designed to offer views of the Yambaru Forest.
The property also accommodates a bar and multiple restaurants namely the Chura-Nuhji Italian fine dining restaurant, a Teppan-yaki restaurant christened Kise, and Gusuku all-day waterside dining outlet.
