Bar Symon is located in the airport’s center core. The design of the 2,500 square feet restaurant reflects the history of Pittsburgh. The restaurant’s interior captures the traditional, relaxed atmosphere of the classic French cafes and breweries.

The walls of the Bar Symon are decorated with the photographs, which includes photos of the former Pittsburgh Meat Market and the historic Rothman’s Restaurant and Bar. The photographs, in addition to serving as the centerpiece of the restaurant’s décor, also pays homage to the Pittsburgh’s food industry.

The other photographs at the restaurant consist of photos of Michael Symon. The guests will also find reclaimed sections of a former Pennsylvania bowling alley, which have found use as table tops in the restaurant. The restaurant also has a chalkboard featuring the draft beer list printed in Chef Symon’s signature font.

The new restaurant offers the inventive cuisine of celebrity chef Michael Symon. The ingredients for the food served at the restaurant are procured from local purveyors.
