Designed by Fulvio De Simoni, in collaboration with AYT and the Ferrettigroup Centro Stile, the new Pershing 82 design reveals semblance to its predecessor Pershing 80. A chief distinguishing aspect of the new yacht is its sun-deck with a retractable platform. With a width of 5.50m, the new yacht is extremely slender, allowing guests to enjoy unparalleled heights.
Another distinguishing element of the boat is its Besenzoni-designed stairs, which has electro-hydraulic controls that allows the stairs to directly open onto the cockpit and automatically disappear upwards when closed. The stairs has been made out of carbon steel.
A standard Pershing 82 has four cabins, which consist of a master suite amidships, a VIP cabin forward and two cabins with twin beds on the first hull of the vessel. The company is also offering options for three guest cabins with a lounge-cinema room starboard and two crew cabins.
The lower deck accommodates a gallery, a salon and crew area. The galley is separate from the saloon and it communicates with the crew area, which offers higher privacy for the guests and the owner. The L-shaped galley is completely cut-off from the sleeping area, which offers superior comfort to the people on board.
The master suite has wide open-view windows, which beings in abundant natural light into the inner space. The en-suite VIP cabin is placed at the bow and features an elegant central bed and two big lateral wardrobes. The two guest cabins have two twin beds. The floors of all the guest cabins are covered in carpet.
The yacht has below deck LED lighting that is distributed along the ducts on the concealed molding, providing indirect lighting, which creates a welcoming atmosphere. The furnishing for the superyacht, which includes salon sofas, the pilot house and many other leather furnishings, has been designed by Poltrona Frau.
The boat has a top speed of 45 knots with a range of 300 nautical miles. The superyacht is powered by two MTU 1,792kW engines. Pershing Yacht plans to launch the new super yacht at the Cannes Boat Show in France by the end of July 2012.
