Designed by KTGY Group, the solar homes are located at 4837 West Fish Hook Road, within the mixed-use, sustainable planned community of Daybreak in South Jordan.

All the single family homes of the development feature solar PVT (Photovoltaic Thermal) panels, geothermal heating and cooling, and a super-tight energy-efficient building envelope with HERS ratings under 40 in a Climate Zone 5, which bring about a monthly power saving of up to 70%.

Externally, all the homes have eclectic, modern finish, which has been created innovatively using fiber-cement siding. The homes have been done up in vibrant colour, which add to the appeal. The homes span between 1,700 to 2,500 square feet and are priced onwards $200,000.

The homes have been built by US-based Garbett Homes which has also secured a Gold Nugget Award of Merit, for Solaris, in the category of Single Family Detached Home.
