The building is designed by Mark Sultana of DSDG, Inc and will be constructed by Halfacre Construction. The new 15,000 square foot facility will contain offices for a staff of 12, a tech training centre and meeting rooms. It will also have a conference room that can be split into three sections.

The association has been at its current location at 3590 South Tuttle Ave. for over 30 years and has been actively seeking a new facility for the last few years. The new facility will be about 2,500 square feet larger. It will also have more than double the parking space of the current facility, and an accessible location near I-75, Bee Ridge, Bahia Vista, Webber, and Cattlemen Road, Florida. SAR will seek the basic LEED certification for the facility.

The occupancy is expected by next summer.
