The Waterside Place will be a 20-storey, high rose residential block which is undergoing development at the Innovation District of Boston on the corner of Congress and D streets across from the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.

The project will span 350,000 square feet, and feature 236 rental units, 140 above-grade parking spaces, and 10,000 square-feet of ground-floor retail space. The $120 million scheme will also offer a plethora of amenities for the residents, which comprises of a resident amenity space on the third floor and a 8,000 square-foot innovation center with built-out work space for entrepreneurs and start-up companies.

Waterside Place is being developed on Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport)- owned vacant parking lot called the Commonwealth Flats Development Area. The project will embrace several sustainable elements, based on which it is aspiring for LEED Silver certification.

Waterside Place is being constructed by Commercial Construction Consulting Incorporated and the US-based Suffolk Construction will serve as the construction manager on the scheme. Construction is scheduled to be completed in September 2014.
