The project has been developed at the site of former Hampshire County Council’s day centre that is located on the Chawton Park Road in Alton. Bordered by Watercress Line, the scheme offers 54 residential units.

The residential units area is a mix of two and three-storey houses which are available for both rent and shared ownership. The homes have been built with the latest energy saving technology, which will allow the residents to enjoy facilities for low energy costs. These include solar thermal panels, A-grade boilers and high levels of insulation.

The homes have timber frames. The exterior façade has been created in brick and tile style, which assist it to blend with the architecture style of the neighbourhood. The façade also has some timber cladding, which gives a unique identity to these homes.

The project has been supported with an investment of approximately £3.6 million ($5.58 million) from the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).
