To strengthen students’ learning experience, DMA Signs worked with Croydon College to develop signage solutions across new and existing sites.

DMA used glass panels for the primary directory signs in the new Rotunda building to mirror the architecture and give a spacious, light and airy feel. Full site audits were also carried out to study traffic flows and ensure that optimum sign locations are identified at each site for maximum impact.

Signage had to be flexible and complementary to existing buildings as well as the new facility style. All products were designed in-house by DMA team, and symbols and bright colour coding for each floor level was implemented following Croydon College’s brand identity guidelines.

Croydon College has undergone considerable refurbishment and extension projects over the last two years. The £35 million ($55 million) extension to the site, The Rotunda, includes a learning resource centre and higher education library facility.
