The design of the store is a combination of an exclusive men’s club and artist’s atelier. It draws inspiration from the long history of the brand, as well as the care and detail that is taken to create every handmade suit.
Materials like dark wood, tufted leathers, and black and white tiles are used to bring out the intimacy and elegance of a men’s club, while grey wood, exposed ceilings, and walls decorated with fabric patterns and tailoring tools convey the feeling of an atelier.
The design is created to make visitors feel comfortable as well as important. The colours, details, fixtures and furniture lend themselves seamlessly to the mix of men’s club and atelier.
The new design expects to create a sense of comfort, inspiration and masculinity, all of which are important to the clients. By combining the two concepts of men’s club and atelier, Pompei A.D. tries to convey a luxurious space that is also accessible and welcoming.
The new Emporium store is scheduled to open in early 2013.
